East Indies satinwood veneer and purpleheart filets adorned with wedgwood medallions. Carrare marble top worn with a pierced gallery. Polychrome paintings depicting arabesques and cameos in the antique taste. Rich ornaments of engraved and gilt bronzes.

Bonheur du jour

inlaid with satinwood, purpleheart, Madagascar rosewood and blood wood from R.V.L.C.(Roger Vandercruse Lacroix). Pelmets and flowerets setting, characteristic revolving rosace on the lower shelf. Louis XVI period.

inlaid with flowers on blood wood and paosanto ground. Marble top. From a model by
J. SCHMITZ(1765- 1770).

Antwerp cabinet. Early 17th C

Ebonized pearwood inlaid with faux-tortoise shell and ivory including 14 drawers and a cupboard opening on a trompe-l'oeil decorated recess with mirrors hiding a secret case. Drawers and panels have painted settings depicting forever love in the greek and roman mythological manner.

with "marqueterie à la reine"in cherrywood and dyied wood. From a model located in the Nissim de Camondo museum in Paris.

Italy. Sumptuously decorated with old rose arabesques and foliages on a light green ground. Cornice and base are gold leaf gilt.
